Theme- "Crafting Digital Worlds: The Web Development Odyssey"

Web developments refers to ability to build, design and maintain a website.Web Wizard requires the participants to design a web page using strictly HTML and CSS on the brief provided.

Flow of Event

Introduction

Prior to the main event, students will receive a comprehensive overview, to ensure they understand all aspects of the event.

Problem Statement Release

Problem statement will be released on 7th April at 11:00PM. Students have to design the website according to the problem statement.

Solo Participation

This event is designed for individual participation, meaning each participant will compete solo.

Competition Schedule

Participants have the option to utilize AI assistance or source code from external references, keeping in mind that they use only HTML and CSS in their designs.

Evaluation

Participants will be evaluated based on the visual appeal of their web page designs as well as their understanding and skill in implementing them.

Rules and Regulations

1.Solo Participation:The event is open to individual participants only.The event is open to individual participants only. Teams are not allowed.

2.Code Sources:While participants are allowed to seek assistance from AI or external sources for code snippets, they must ensure that the final design is primarily their own work.

3.Fair Play: Plagiarism or unauthorized use of pre-made templates without proper attribution is strictly prohibited.

4.Adherence to Guidelines: Participants must adhere to all event guidelines and instructions provided during the briefing session.

5.Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect towards fellow participants, organizers, and event staff throughout the competition.

6.Disqualification: Any violation of the rules and regulations may result in disqualification from the event.

Judging Criteria

1. Participants will be evaluated based on the visual appeal of their web page designs and their demonstrated understanding and skill in implementing them.
